Fishing Techniques
Today we head out onto my home body of water in Hayward, Wisconsin. We are on the hunt for day time walleyes on a jig rod. I have been fishing this pattern for a few weeks now and I have learned a lot about where and how often these fish use structure. Walleye in these very deep clear lakes never stop moving. They spend a lot of time moving between structure and open water. To catch these fish we must move as often as they move.
In this video I will discuss how I move and what I look for in structure while hunting these basin fish through the ice!
